POSITION TITLE: CCDF Client Intake Specialist
REPORTS TO: Director of Subsidy Programs
SUPERVISES: N/A
CLASSIFICATION: Full-time or Part-time / Hourly / Non-Exempt

POSITION PUPOSE: To determine and maintain eligibility for active and potential clients through the CCDF enrollment and OMWPK process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Provide assistance to clients in a helpful, compassionate manner
 Assist clients with the application process, questions, and concerns
 Verify all required documentation of eligibility
 Determine client eligibility
 Respond to telephone and email inquiries regarding CCDF and OMWPK services
 Data entry for various forms of documentation relating to eligibility
 Assist clients with community resources and referrals to agencies when appropriate
 Assist with agency mailings
 Maintain client and provider files
 Inform clients of their Rights and Obligations
 Conduct client reauthorizations every 53 weeks, or as needed
 Conduct client updates as necessary
 Monitoring to ensure there is no duplication of subsidized program use
 Mail any required information to clients and providers
 Clerical duties as needed
 Represent 4C in a professional manner both in the office and in the general public

SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
 Excellent verbal, computer, and writing skills
 Strong organizational ability
 Detail oriented

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:
 Maintain confidentiality regarding 4C programs, procedures, policy, staff, and clients
 Return emails, voicemails, and messages within one business day
 Be cognizant of the impact the position has on the overall mission of the agency
 Attend required team meetings with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
 Offer support to colleagues
 Manage time efficiently
 Adopt and abide by the agency Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Statement of Commitment

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT:
 Works in a clean, well-lit, temperature controlled office
 Moderate travel to the 14 surrounding counties throughout the month

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 Associates Degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in early childhood education, social work, or related field or relevant course work plus a minimum of three years experience in child care, human services or a social work setting

POSITION TITLE: Inclusion Specialist
REPORTS TO: Director of CCR&R Programs
SUPERVISES: N/A
CLASSIFICATION: Full-time / Hourly / Non-Exempt

POSITION PURPOSE: To assist early childhood programs and providers in improving access, quality and availability of inclusive environments for families of children with and without special needs. To increase quality through observations, on-site visits and trainings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Maintain advanced knowledge and understanding of inclusive practices, resources and legislation regarding disabilities and inclusion
 Responsible for the compilation and distribution of information pertinent to the program (feedback) in a timely and purposeful manner
 Openly communicate with program administrators and family child care providers regarding best practice
 Support program administrators and family child care providers in plans for improvements with research, technical assistance and training
 Maintain comprehensive tracking system on each program, including assessments, collaborative action plans, summary of visits and trainings offered
 Offer resources and training and use evaluations to determine effectiveness
 Schedule visits in a timely and consistent manner
 Individualize services based on the needs of the program
 Offer and evaluate training on topics required by IACCRR to fulfill the contractual obligations for the Indiana Partnership for Inclusive Child Care
 Upon request, observe children, meet with families and caregivers and offer suggestions on meeting the needs of the child and make appropriate referrals when necessary
 Work with funding sources for specific new grant obligations and requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
 At least 12 credit hours in inclusive education
 A minimum of 2 years working in an inclusive Early Childhood setting or other Early Childhood and disability-related setting
 Experience training adults
